What makes a website convert? The full guide

The design, content, and speed elements that determine whether your site turns visitors into customers.

Getting visits to your site doesn't help if those visits never turn into customers. Conversion depends on the visitor quickly understanding what you offer, trusting that you're the right choice, and finding the next step easy to take.

Load speed is decisive: every extra second your site takes to load significantly reduces the odds someone sticks around. Heavy, unoptimized images are the most common cause of slow sites.

Social proof — real testimonials, client case studies, number of projects delivered — reduces the visitor's uncertainty. Nobody wants to be the first to try a new service with zero signal that it's worked for others.

And the call to action needs to be specific and visible: "Request a proposal" or "Message us on WhatsApp" work better than a generic "Contact us." The clearer the next step, the more people will take it.
